How do you get rid of acne scars?

So I used to have really bad acne and it cleared up. But now I have all these nasty scars from my acne. I've tried a bunch of fading creams/gels but nothing seems to help. What else can I try to make them go away? How do you get rid of acne scars?
There is a filler that dermatologists can use if they are the crater type. If it is just discolored, lasers might be the way to go. This is a good article:How do you get rid of acne scars?
1. Stop popping! It's tempting, but honestly, it make things worse. If you absolutely must pop, make sure that the area and your fingers are clean and disinfected. Best method of dealing with acne scars and cuts is just to let your body do the works. Keep the irritated area clean and use as little make-up on the area as possible.

2. Use a Scar Treatment. For post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentation (brown or red marks on the skin) try something like ';Zenmed's Scar Treatment Kit';, Neutrogena Advanced Solutions Acne Mark Fading Peel. Mederma is also a good ';spot'; treatment. For ';ice picks'; or ';crater-like'; scars, which are actual dents in the skin, often the most effective treatment is seeing a doctor.

3. Moisturize and protect. Always use an oil-free moisturizer that has SPF. Try Body Guard Exquisitely Light SPF 30 For Face %26amp; Body.

4. Triple Antibiotic ointment If you put this on overnight, it will fade your scars and get rid of them. Don't put too much on in one spot, it can cause your skin to get overly oily

# Have a chemical peel performed. This is a good treatment for very light acne scarring. Different types of acid are applied to the top layer of the skin. The acid is then removed about 15 minutes later. Again this will remove the top damaged layers of the epidermis. Redness and swelling is common after the procedure. Depending on the amount of acid applied, recovery time can take from a day to a couple of weeks.
I've used Avon products and they work relatively well.

Avon Ageless nightly nutrient peel works wonders.

I have heard of some sort of surgery that they just use a laser and even out the skin by just burning it off for a second in each spot and it really dosen't even hurt. They don't even do any thing for pain or put you under because it just feels like they just slapped your face. I have actully thought about doing this as I have the same problem but, I have no idea how much it costs.
I have really bad acne and I use to like pop them to get rid of them but then i got really bad scars so i used merdirma. ANd merdirma actually works and its a really good product. I use it all the time and it doesnt worsen acne.
laser, sorry. if you've used all those gels/creams, and they don't work, it just means the scarring is already too deep to be erased naturally, so u must get laser surgery.
laser resurfacing scar removal which it expensive
Smear some tea tree oil on the scar regularly to help it heal faster. More such solutions at http://solutionsforpimples.blogspot.com/
