What is the best remedy for large pores/acne scars?

I've struggled with acne since my early twenties, but now that I'm older I have a new problem: large pores and acne scars. What is the cheapest, safest, and most effective way to make both less noticeable? Do home microdermabrasion systems work? And do they harm the skin? Please help, I'm desperate!What is the best remedy for large pores/acne scars?
As a beauty therapist I would recommend salon hydroxy peels for the scaring and the problem pores.


If you cannot do that then a home hydroxy peel kit used four times a week on alternate days will help. If your pores are large keep skin clean with gentle cleansers but do not use harsh products as they will make the problem worse!


Moisturisers containing retinal are also great for renewing cells and have a marked effect on open pores.


But remember skin responds to diet so drink plenty of water %26amp; leave off the alcohol (it makes open pores worse!)


For the scars again if you cannot afford the salon the retinal moisturiser and hydroxy acids will improve them.

I would recommend laser treatments at the dermatologists. But I am currently trying out Avon's Clinical Laser treatment. You can email me in a couple of weeks and ask me how it goes.
Professional in-office microdermabasion. This is the least expensive, most effective and least invasive non-surgical procedure for removing acne scars and clogged and enlarged pores. It works like this: a high pressure flow of micro crystals abrades your face and removes a few microns from the top layer of the skin. this is how acne scars are diminished. another thing this procedures does is stimulate collagen production (helping skin renews its cells faster, replacing your old scars wtih new skin) and vacuum back into the machine all used crystals and debris off your face. Buy sucking all dead cells, it uncloggs your pores, allowing them to get back to their original size.


And yes, microderma does work. there are only a few cases of people who say the procedure had no effect on them. you need at least 6 treatment for optimum results.


At-home microderma isn't as effective. It works pretty well at making your skin look fresh and feel smooth, but it will not entirely remove acne scars. Best kits come from Neutrogena, Susan Lucci, Dermanew, Philosophy... they don't harm your skin as long as you use them according to the kit instructions. Worst case scenario with one of these kits are a few breakouts and some redness, which will disappear in a few hours.

Go to a dermatologist for microdermabrasion or a chemical peel. You could also try a medi-spa in your area for facials and mild glycolic acid peels. Nurse praticioners do a really good job and are often more affordable. I don't think you will see very good results from at-home treatments. Good luck!
i use the loreal microdermabrasion . it helps also use anew by avon. the one in the brown jar. it is $35 but it is worth it. it feels so good and my skin feels so soft. it als evened my complexion without whitening it.
to fix your large pores use biores pore minimazer face wash...works like a dream:]..Acne scars can be fixed by microdermabrasion but since they are scars go to a dermatoligst..the home kits dont work very well on th scars..I also suggest the Morning Burst face wash..Good luck!! ...Soo many people suffer with this!..but you can get through it:)Good luck!
