Everytime I get a pimple it leaves behind a scar. I don't like the scars and deal with them even though I would like them to go away. What is the best way to get rid of acne scars without spending too much money?
Do not touch them. When they appear, treat them with a cream/pad/pill or hot washcloth. They will scar when you start popping and picking at them.
If there are scars already, applying cocoa butter or any kind of vitamin A treatment is a cheap way to minimize their appearance. If you want to spend a little more, using the over the counter Mederma will work as well but a tube of it costs over $20 I think. If they are scars and not pits, exfoliation with a beta hydroxy solution (Alpha Hydrox make one , so does Proactive (i believe)) will help decrease the appearance of scars.
